Yesterday was mostly spent in Chicago. We left at 12:00 to the train station, but we had time to kill so we went to Geneva Jakes. If you don't know what that is, then look at the sign. Yep, "Life is Good", especially when you find a store full of it.
I got a shirt at the store, which you might see me wearing in this post. Here's the train station. This was the end of train line. We went from one end of the line, to the other.
After a 1 hour 40 minute train ride, we arrived in Chicago. One thing it took a while to figure out is the fact that there are a lot of large buildings in Chicago. Yeah, right.
In Millennium Park. That abstract art in the background is the stage, where people play instruments.
You may want to buy the "Confused Youth" album "At the Fountain." On the south side, that is. Yes, that was an inside joke.
Statue pose. This statue was descriptively called "Man with fish", donated by the Sick couple. No kidding.
See that smallish "Prudential" building (with the blue text on it) in the center of the picture? Once upon a time that was the tallest building in Chicago.

Great pictures, Casey. Thanks. Pops is going to try to send you a message today...I'll help him when I get down to the valley house.
