Once again, we leave to the annual event of Presbytery. Well, that's not entirely true. If that were true, we would be leaving a little later than we are. The truth is, we are leaving to a once- in-a-lifetime, and long-anticipated event, the wedding of Ben and Tiffany. And so, without further ado, let me begin.
Preparation for any long trip takes time, and this trip was no exception. We began on Monday packing and preparing, Tuesday and Wednesday were spent packing and preparing, and finally, today, we got so sick of packing and preparing that we left altogether. Dad had a flight to Saint Louis at 2:20 today, so we dropped him off at San Jose Airport, then continued on to our hotel in San Francisco. After dropping our stuff off at the hotel, we headed for Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, a must-do for San Francisco travelers. Of course, we've been there before, but it's still fun.

Corey gives a weird face. Little does he know what will soon happen...
On the way to Fisherman's Wharf, we went on a little detour (on accident) that made a 15 minute trip last an hour. Well, it wasn't the detour that added all that time, but the horrible rush hour traffic slowed us almost to a halt. Here's a view of the fog, which was, thankfully, not over us. It was actually an unusually beautiful S.F. day.

We passed the Bay Bridge. As long as we weren't going there (that's where all the cars were going) we were fine.

But after an hour, we finally made it.
Kevin welcomes all people to the pier.

Walking through the pier.

The three musketeers on a windy day.

The many resident musketeers. Also known as, "Sea Lions".

After viewing the sea lions for a bit, we were so hungry we got some dinner at Chowders. If you are ever at Pier 39, I would recommend getting their bread bowl clam chowder...my mouth is watering.
Mmmmmm.....four people eating arguably the best chowder anywhere.

After a great meal and great music provided by a talented musician we left the pier.

Since I don't have many pictures...

Mom pets a whale as we leave Pier 39...

After leaving Pier 39, we drove around looking for this street, which we found eventually: (okay, this isn't our picture, but we didn't have any)

And Corey says "Bye". "Bye". "Bye".
